What impressed me most about Redstones, was their open and honest approach in handling my initial enquiry. Not only did Manjit and Chris respond to me promptly, but they also gave me the chance to ask as many questions as I wanted, and answered me honestly, and clearly.


I had looked into other property franchises, but was immediately drawn to Redstones due to the brand, and the relatively low costs compared to others. In doing my research, I made contact with all of the other available franchises, and never got the feeling the they were as passionate about growing the network as Redstones are, or that my enquiry really mattered that much to them. I was invited down to Redstones HQ to meet with Manjit and find out exactly what being a franchisee would involve. I came prepared with my lists of questions, but all of these were answered through the presentation!


From here, I was given all access to all of the current franchisee's, who all backed up my initial thoughts about the strength of the brand, and the excellent on-going support provided to them, whenever they feel they need it.


The 2 weeks training at head office has been a fantastic experience, with no stone left un-turned. The staff all speak highly about working for an ambitious company, and showed great patience and professionalism in guiding me through the processes and procedures of a busy Estate Agent.

Having over 10 years' experience of owning and letting commercial, Holiday and residential property. Running a small business that employed staff for this purpose. I was looking to expand residential lettings side of the business and also venture into residential sales. Having experienced mixed service levels within the lettings industry I felt there was plenty of scope to improve.


I had been researching the franchise letting market place for some time talking to the larger established names in the industry, but the startup costs made it very prohibitive and in such a competitive market place I felt the chances of success with the burden of the initial costs was low. Also some of the territories being offered were not very big.


After meeting Manjit at Redstones and discussed the Franchise in more detail. I felt that the Redstone's offering was in line with my own requirements and expectations. He was open and honest with all my due diligence allowing me unrestricted access to other franchisee's to answer questions and provide information I need. Normally for me, the prospect of attending any 'Training course' is rarely an exciting one. However, having gotten to this stage of the franchise process with Redstones, I was actually looking forward to it with 'real' energy and 'excitement'.


I was not disappointed. As the training unravelled it became apparent these guys really have done this before and are prepared for everything. Every pothole, pitfall and eventuality is covered by the training (I suspect they learned the hard way). Nonetheless, I now feel coiled and ready to action a (dare I say it) simple, step by step system and build my franchise into a solid branch of Redstones.

Whilst it is difficult for me to write a testimonial as an experienced landlord who has been letting and managing properties over several years where I learnt the entire process "the hard way", I found the entire process very encouraging to commit into building the new franchise. The management systems in place are excellent.


I particularly found the LetMC useful as it has built in functionality for each and every aspect of property management.


We went through the work book in detail however, it would have been useful if there were "Key Notes" attached to every heading. This, I feel would help brain storming at a later stage as not everyone makes notes.
