The total cost of a Redstones office turnkey solution is £20,000 - £25,000, including a franchise fee of £14,995, training, equipment, software, marketing support, business launch, car livery, your own Redstones local micro site, TO LET boards, in fact everything you need apart from working capital and vehicle deposit.

The flexibility to match your market

If you're based in a central location with high footfall and a large stock of local property, it may make sense to have a high-street presence. That's why in addition to our office-based package, we also offer a high-street franchise with traditional premises as well.

This means you can choose the business model to suit your region and the cost of the franchise fee is the same at £14,995.

The Territory

Redstones territories are typically larger than those offered by other lettings franchises, each covering about 100,000 homes with a total population of approximately 250,000. Yet it's not just the size of Redstones territories that makes them so special – it's the way they're designed.

We've worked closely with mapping specialists to create franchise territories that provide equally attractive revenue opportunities for all franchisees, each offering a good balance of property types and a broad mix of demographic profiles.

Because Redstones franchises aren't necessarily centred around a single high-street location, our partners are able to focus their efforts across their entire region, or on specific areas that offer greatest potential for growth. It all adds up to a more intelligent business model.

Training & Initial Support

Our success depends on your success and that's one of the reasons why we have invested so much time and effort into our initial training programme.

Many of our franchisees will be new to the property business and so our training has to cover everything you'll need to know in order to develop a profitable and successful business.....and we think it does.

The initial training programme is a two week course based at our head office and it is spearheaded by our founder and Managing Director, Manjit Virdi, but includes additional support from property training professionals and our own head office team and it will lead to the ARLA qualification. The programme concentrates on how to win new business and includes a section dedicated to our "Switch Agent" programme which will help to make sure that landlords want to use you. Over the years we have devised a unique but straight forward approach to selling our services.......landlords demand flexibility and of course value for money so we have developed franchise packages that offer services ranging from simply making tenant introductions right through to various different levels of property management and ultimately to our total care package which we call the Redstones Platinum Total Care service. The course also focuses on customer service strategies that are aimed at tenants.......we believe that tenants must be treated professionally and we'll make sure you understand exactly what our high service level standards are. We'll also show you how to market and sell our services to landlords as well as everything else you're going to need to know including how to put together a Business Launch plan that'll make sure you get off to a flying start.

Additional Income Streams

Once your lettings business is firmly established and your cash-flow is beginning to grow, you will be given the opportunity to expand your operation into residential property sales if you choose. As the housing market has slowed, many conventional estate agents have struggled to win new business, so there's a big opportunity for an efficiently run estate agent with a strong brand and great customer service delivery. Of course, if you already have prior experience as an estate agent then it may be possible to include property sales as soon as you begin trading.

Marketing & Ongoing Support

Our ongoing support is designed to make sure you have help and advice available when you need it......especially in the first few months. We will spend at least two days with you when you start your business to help with the implementation of your marketing plan and we'll also be available to support when you make those first visits to landlords. Help is always available via the telephone hotline and you'll also benefit from regular network meetings and training modules that have been designed to help you to further develop your knowledge, skills and expertise. Once you're business is off and running we will visit on a monthly basis to offer help and advice with development and expansion issues as well as any day to day matters that might come up.

We provide franchisees with lots of professionally produced marketing materials that have been designed to help you to win new business......the Redstones brand is a really strong image and our promotions, pr and offers will make you stand out from the crowd! You'll also have your own micro website and benefit from the Redstones Head Office site as well which, thanks to our SEO and pay per click campaigns, is always high in the search engine listings......our on line strategy is under constant review to make sure we're right at the top of our game and we're always evaluating new technology, products and services on your behalf leaving you free to get on with the job.

There's no such thing as a typical Redstones franchisee. Our franchisees come from all kinds of backgrounds and bring with them a diverse range of skills. Yet one thing they all have in common is an outstanding customer service ethic. They're usually very ambitious too, self-disciplined and highly motivated.

Property lettings is very much a people business, so it's critical that franchisees enjoy meeting new clients and building good relationships with colleagues, landlords and tenants.
